By working with low- and middle-income countries to gather evidence that is of direct relevance to decisions about the control of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes, the activities of IC Health should lead to worthwhile health benefits and contribute to social and economic development. Additionally, by supporting capacity development and institutional strengthening, IC Health will provide low and middle-income countries with the skills required to develop and promulgate evidence-based policies for chronic disease control.
