IC-Health has identified core programs and projects for prioritized research. These have undergone preliminary development for translation into full proposals, for grants by various funding agencies. The information generated by these studies will serve to inform policies and empower programs for CVD prevention and control. Such research will reduce the anticipated burden of CVDs in the developing countries and will help assure sustainable health over the lifespan to many millions who may otherwise die or become disabled in mid-life.
