In consultation with research groups from China, India, the Middle East, South America, Africa and elsewhere, a range of other proposals for projects concerned with the prevention or treatment of cardiovascular disease and diabetes have been developed by IC Health and its partners. These include:
  qualitative and quantitative studies of barriers to adherence and trials of interventions to improve adherence
  projects that will formulate and evaluate risk stratification algorithms, using regional data, to enable the reliable detection of high risk individuals
  situational analyses to assess the current role of traditional and non-traditional health care providers in the management of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes.
IC Health is seeking expressions of interest from sponsors that that may wish to provide support for any of these projects.
